From friday 16 to sunday 18 march, at the Palazzo delle Arti in Naples, will be held the First International Conference of Psychopathology, Neuroscience and Psychotherapy” organized by “Phenomena” a multidis-ciplinary study group made up of university professors and researchers promoted by SiPGI,, school of specializa-tion in integratedschool of specializa-tion in integrated Gestalt psychotherapy. A three-day program of one-hour scheduled sequential sessions, where scholars from all over the world will offer a brief description of the work done in the three areas of study of the conference.

 

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

During the scientific days the reports will describe the theoretical foundations of the research. The study programs outlined above can be developed, analyzed and shared with the other members of the multi-disciplinary study group in the context of subsequent conferences. On each of the days there will be, in addition to the presentation of the works in sequential sessions, some main reports, friday 16th by Prof. N.M. Maldona-to and Prof. G. Cantillo, saturday 17 by prof. M. Maj and sunday 18 by prof. G. Iorio and by prof. R. Sperandeo. The works presented to the Congress will subsequently be submitted to the peer review proto-col and published in a volume of documents indexed by Scopus.

 

“KARL JASPERS” AWARD TO PROFESSOR MARIO MAJ

The scheduled event at the Palazzo delle Arti in Naples will also offer an opportunity to present the award “Karl Jaspers for Psychopathology and Neuroscience” to prof. Mario Maj, Professor of Psychiatry at the Universi-ty of Naples since 1985 and Director of the Department of Psychiatry at the Luigi Vanvitelli University. Sat-urday, march 17, at 15, the teacher will hold a lectio magistralis entitled: “The General Psychopathology’ of Jaspers 100 years later: its relevance for research and reflection in psychiatry and related disciplines”“.

 

“PHENOMENA FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS” AWARD

On sunday 18 march, at the end of the kermesse, the “Phenomena for Young Researchers” award will be as-signed to the best Poster presented by researchers under 35. The works that will be awarded the prize will be published in an e-book together with the conference proceedings.
